An eclectic band requires eclectic members, and Minor Key Trio includes just that.  Featuring the gypsy-bluegrass stylings of guitarist Mark Morris, the tasteful jazz anchoring of bassist Carl Meinecke, and the soulfully diverse influences of pianist Jon Wirtz, this close-knit triad comes out "swinging" in every sense of the word.  Never to be known for their timidness, Minor Key Trio brings a tasteful yet high energy bounce to all sorts of music, from Django Reinhardt to traditional bluegrass, Miles Davis to the Grateful Dead, as well as an impressive batch of originals.  Their unique sound combines the stylings of gypsy and traditional jazz, mixed with a touch of bluegrass.  Or as they like to call it, "gypsy soul-grazz."
